The Chequers Hotel was the setting for the Sunday lunch hosted by Dalton in Furness Lodge WM Stuart Brackstone and his wife Ginny.
The 80 diners at the Dalton in Furness venue were able to enjoy good food in pleasant company whilst vocalist Jenny Brierley provided a programme of café jazz favourites.
It was a family affair with the children present being presented with Halloween treats supplied in a Halloween themed bucket by Stuart. The ladies were not left out as they each received an elaborately wrapped Cadburys chocolate orange.
Enjoying his first social event as a Mason was Crawford Phinn who had only been initiated 3 days previously. Crawford was accompanied by his wife Margaret and son Robert.
It proved a great success with the masonic charities benefitting from a raffle to the tune of £300.
